According to a recent poll, Roger Federer has the second-best worldwide reputation of any public figure, behind only former South African president Nelson Mandela.
The Reputation Institute surveyed the public’s respect, admiration and trust in 54 public figures. Of the 50,000 people in 25 countries polled, Federer came in second, just ahead of Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Richard Branson, and well ahead of last-place finisher, Kim-Jong Il.

Do you ever have those days where you’re just tired. Of everything. And not because you’re lazy or whatever. But you’re genuinely physically and mentally exhausted? Even if the past couple of days really weren’t that strenuous on you. 

I would love to just go home, curl up on my bed, and take a nap until my body can no longer keep its eyes closed.

I’ve been thinking every so often about the connotations and implications of the concept of ‘manning up’. It implies that emotional difficulties are a feminine weakness that can be easily avoided if we shun the feminine elements of ourselves and embrace masculinity. I think that can be stigmatizing in the mental health arena for all genders.
